Kim Cruz

Friday, December 8th, 2017

Kim is the youngest of seven sisters and is a transplant from the Boston area. She lives by the motto of, “Be honest and do not put yourself in a position where your integrity is questioned.” Kim’s most important lesson she has learned (probably from those seven sisters) is to not take things personally.

Her dream vacation would be to go to Alaska and her favorite thing about the “day to day” in the insurance business is her ability to interact with clients. Kim loves to spend time with her family when she is not at the office. She is a great asset to any company and you will always find her in a happy mood, and you can bet that our clients love to work with her.

Lexie Hill

Friday, December 8th, 2017

Alexandra, a.k.a. Lexie to us here in the office, was born in North Carolina but grew up right here in Fort Myers, Florida. She’s a God-loving young woman who spends her free time in church, at home reading or sharing a meal with friends. It came as no surprise when she told us she would love to travel to Israel. Though she may be the youngest in our Cape Coral office, she is often acting as the “mom” to her co-workers, up to and including Brian himself, and we can’t thank her enough for that. The only red-head of her siblings, people often don’t believe they are related with two of them being brunettes and the other being blonde.

Lexie’s greatest challenge is learning how to not worry over things outside of her control. And her motto for life is to have and strive for a standard of excellence in all you do. Her life lesson learned is, “failure is often just as important and impactful as success, so don’t beat yourself up over it. Do everything you commit to with your whole heart and watch how it all works out.”

Jennifer Baxter

No one is more Charlotte County (Punta Gorda) than our Jen! She is the fifth generation in her family to live here but she would be happy to take a break from the sunny Florida weather to visit Italy someday. As a busy mother of three boys you are bound to find her outside boating, fishing, or just hanging out on Florida’s beautiful water. Jen has two mottos in our office: “nothing great ever comes easy,” and “If you put your mind to it, work hard and never give up…….you will be successful no matter what you choose to do.”

One thing we love about Jen the most is how she embraces life and lives knowing you have to do what makes you happy because we have such a short time on this earth. Although it was one of the toughest decisions of her life, leaving a career to pursue this happiness led her to our team. Jen is passionate about our community and it is no surprise that one of her favorite aspects about working in insurance is meeting new people every day. Our best words to describe Jen are “quietly tenacious,” and with every single client she brings that hard working attitude to earn their business!

Sheri Montgomery

Wednesday, December 6th, 2017

Sheri has had the privilege of being employed by our agency twice. Circumstances took her away for several years, but she is excited to be back on the State Insurance team. She was raised in Iowa and has been an outdoors type even from a young age. Sheri’s life motto is, “Do it right the first time,” and her advice for success is to always be grateful to the people who help you succeed.

If she could travel anywhere it would be to New Orleans, and if she is not at the office, you can bet she’s probably out fishing. That is no fish tail. One interesting fact about Sheri is when she was four she was in a frog jumping contest, only to lose because she took a toad and everyone else had bullfrogs. Sheri says she has learned in life to treat everyone fairly and with respect. Sheri was a big part of our office success the first time she was employed, and we are so grateful she is back as part of our amazing team.

Danielle Coffelletto

Wednesday, December 6th, 2017

Danielle or “Dani” is a transplant from North Ridgeville, OH and lives everyday not letting the fear of the unknown keep her from trying new things. She loves DIY (do-it-yourself) projects and is probably our most organized team member. Her greatest fear is speaking to a crowd, but she knows everyone had to take the time to learn what they know and how to present the information.

One day she would love to travel to Greece, Italy, Germany, and anywhere else she can make it to in Europe. Her motto is to work hard, try your best, and be honest. She always takes time to help others and loves to learn new things. She joined us after over twenty years in the medical field, and if you don’t find her at the office she will more than likely be at home with her husband conquering a new project.

Chrissy Baxendale

Wednesday, December 6th, 2017

From Springhill, FL, Chrissy OR “Chrissy Chrissy Crembo-no Sa Rembo-chari Bari Ruchi-pip Peri Pembo” – a nickname her dad gave her from the kids book Tikki Tikki Tembo, is one of our special talents. A little known fact is that Chrissy skipped her senior year of High School to attend college early. One day her dream would be to travel outside the US with her family and vacation in Ireland. Her greatest challenge is “letting go of what you have no control over,” and her best advice she would give for success is to choose something you and enjoy and excel at it.

Chrissy is so adaptable and isn’t afraid to ask questions. You will find her in her free time spending time with family, volunteering with her religious organization, or at Cross Fit working out. Her approach every interaction in the office or not is to “put others interest ahead of her own.”

Lanie Kretching

Wednesday, December 6th, 2017

Lanie or “Lanester” loves to meet new people and socializing which makes her a perfect fit for our outside marketing efforts. She lives a busy life with her two children and would love to travel to Australia one day with them. Although originally from Ridgefield, CT and then St Louis, MO, she has lived the longest in Ft Myers, FL and plans to stay. Her motto is, “it’s not who you know, but who knows you.” Her advice for success is that our minds are a powerful place so be careful what you feed it, keep all things in prayer while asking for favor and believe it will happen!

If you don’t find her at the office you may see her out fishing as she loves the outdoors and spending time on our beautiful Southwest Florida water.
